RePublic is a new disabled led Community Interest Company, set up to provide an experimental space to present work to the public by artists who create innovative work in the margins, or who are traditionally less visible, particularly deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists and those with intersectional identities. RePublic will be working in partnership with Flatlands to bring new, risk taking work by disabled artists to the gallery, through a series of ReInterpretations and new commissions. RePublic will also engage local and national audiences with this work in accessible ways, including via digital platforms.
